Our mission is to celebrate the rich heritage of Chinese culture and build lasting connections within our diverse community through language education, the arts, and social engagement. By bridging cultural divides, we empower individuals to take pride in their roots while fostering mutual understanding and harmony for all.

Our Journey
Key Milestones in Our School's Growth
Since our founding, we’ve proudly grown and adapted to serve our community better. Here we share important achievements that mark our development, showcasing our commitment to language education and community engagement. Each milestone reflects our dedication to our students and their families.
1993 - Community-based School Formed
We formed as a community-based language school serving the greater Birmingham, AL area.
Auguest 9, 2016 - Non-profit School Formed
We formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based language school serving the greater Birmingham, AL area.
May 30, 2017 - First Summer Camp
We held a successful two-week summer camp to help bridge the gap of local camp offerings.
Jananuary 6, 2018 - Youth Reading Club Began
Parents took turns to present their home provinces in China. It was a blast for a virtual cutural journey across China.
May 28, 2019 - Full Season Camp
With experience from the previous years, we proudly offered and organized a 11-week summer camp that lasted for the entire duration of the summer break for the first time.
September 4, 2019 - After-School Chinese Enrichment
We were excited to partner with local elementary schools for the After-School Chinese Enrichment program.
March 15, 2020 - Recitation and Speech Contest
Our first Chinese Recitation and Speech Contest was a smash. We were so proud of the widespread participation and to listen to our students presenting in fluent Mandarin!
September 25, 2021 - Family Workshop
We started a series of forums and workshops according to our community needs.
March 17, 2022 - Certifying Organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award
We’re excited to become an official certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award. We thank our volunteers and encourage them to apply for the award.
